Layers

The planks dissolved again.

I tumbled endlessly

Through layers grey,

Unsure, uncertain.

Darkness shot between

The blaring panels white.

When I am lost,

My mind will stray about

Until the harsh contrasts

Relax and melt,

Revealing narrow eyes

That scatter shades ambivalent,

Her lips impossibly

So soft

Cascading over

And across

Descending.
