DeLoreans

You dreamed you'd drive DeLoreans.
Last year, your stylist said to lose the Tesla.
So you pick her up in the XM.
You're relieved the service got
The long straight blonde hair
Right this time.
You give them enough money.

Her dress is cut quite low
To show the slopes of the course
Or local photo opportunities.
Your shirt's unbuttoned low to flaunt
The hilts within your chest
Like silver chains of masculinity.

She smiles,
Kisses Chardonnay
You bought with platinum.
She's sure to say your first name plenty
And she laughs the perfect volume;
It splashes on the tables near
But doesn't flood the room.
You're still not funny.
